These are my Top 10 (personal) Favorite Films I've seen in theaters in the past year (2009). They are based on how much I loved the film, how many times I've seen them (whether in theaters or dvd...), and my own reviews of them (and ratings).

I saw this movie twice. First on its opening day at night with friends and the next day with my mother. I love Sandra Bullock ! She's one of my favorite actresses and I've seen pretty much every movie that she has released. I love her movies and I knew I'll love this one too. Also, I like or should I say now, I love Ryan Reynolds ! Hehe... I've seen him in Just Friends (he was very funny in that movie), Definitely, Maybe (he was good in that movie with Isla Fisher, Rachel Weisz , and Elizabeth Banks , but the movie was alright), and one of the recent blockbuster hit, X-Men Origins: Wolverine (He was fierce in that movie, lol). Spanish Telenovelas

This past summer, I actually had too much downtime that I surprised and found myself watching not just random movies, but I also ended up watching a few Spanish Telenovelas , lots of Korean Dramas , and some Taiwanese Dramas . I must admit I was not into watching them before until recently, as I got addicted into watching them, but mostly on K-Dramas (my post on it is coming up...soon!)...thank goodness for English subtitles ! Film Review: Confessions of a Shopaholic

I've seen this movie's preview trailer months ago and thought it looked very funny, but never thought or planned to see it. I've never read the Shopaholic novels even though I've heard of them and seen the books in book stores (just never read it...perhaps now I will after seeing this movie), until one day, one of my older sisters highly recommended I see it. She told me it was the best movie she's seen in a long time...and that's very rare for her to say that about a movie that she likes/loves the most. She also told me that it was worth the money. So I said, ok, I'll watch it. And I did recently. I went to see it with my Mom and we were pleasantly surprised at how awesome, so much fun, very funny, cute, and entertaining this movie was. Foreign Films (Part 2)

I've been watching so many random Foreign Films via Netflix for several years now or so as a lot of them were really, really good. I started posting Foreign Films part 1   (six years ago!) and it's been a while since I wrote more about this until now. I happen to have seen a lot in the past year and recently. So, I've compiled a list of the foreign movies I remember seeing. A lot of these films I saw, I didn't expect I would love and enjoy watching, and I like that.
