Film Review: He's Just Not That into You

Image
When I first heard that a few of my favorite actors were cast in this film, I got very excited. I was already looking forward to the release of this movie even before they started filming, lol. This film made it to the top of the weekend's Box Office for two back to back weeks. I heard mostly nice and a few mixed reviews from those who has seen it, but I didn't read any news article/reviews about it online or in newspapers as most of the time I disagree with the critics opinions of which movie I think should be worth watching and isn't. So, I watch movies to see for myself and my own curiosity. The trailer for this movie looked funny enough for me to watch it. Here's my review of...

Film Review: Slumdog Millionaire

Just saw this movie with my Mom a few days ago or so. I must say this movie was awesome. I loved it from beginning to end. I didn't even think I'd see this movie as I always hear it and it's been getting rave reviews and winning tons of awards. Not too mentioned it's been getting rave reviews and early Oscar buzz way before it scored an impressive 10 Academy Awards Nominations. Everyone I heard who's seen this movie kept saying it was very good. So, my Mom and I thought lets go see this movie and see what was all the fuzz and buzz surrounding this film about. Not too mention, my Mom and I love watching Indian/Bollywood films, so we thought we'd at least get this film and perhaps even like or enjoy it. Sure enough when we saw it, we both loved and enjoyed it. What an amazing and fantastic film. It definitely deserved all the rave reviews, early Oscar buzz, all the Golden Globe/Critics/PGA, DGA and any awards it has swept and gotten so far, not too mention the imp

Film Review: Paul Blart - Mall Cop

I saw this movie with my parents recently. It was weird that we saw this on a weekday and there were still a lot of people watching it as it was still #1 at the Box Office at the time we saw this. It spent 2 weeks on top. We thought we'd see this as it looks funny when we saw the trailer on TV. Anyway, as we were waiting to see this movie, for some reason the projector won't work. We were wondering what was going on. We saw in the back that the person operating it couldn't get it to work either and we've waited and waited till it went way past the time it was supposed to have been shown. Then, people started to ask to the manager why the movie wasn't showing yet. The manager came to see us to tell us that they had technical difficulties with the projector and they can't show us the movie at that time, but they do gave us a re-admit passes that we can use to watch any movies we want whenever. Also, he told us that we can even stay and watch for the next time sh
