Synopsis

A male stripper teaches a younger performer how to party, pick up women, and make easy money.
I saw Magic Mike twice in less than two weeks! What can I say I loved and enjoyed watching the movie enough to see it more than once, lol. I first saw it with a group of girlfriends at work and the second time when my sister and sis-in-law invited me to go with them (couldn't say no, and I didn't have to pay...so, might as well go again!)...I had a fun ladies night out watching it twice!

It was a very good movie. It was a lot of fun, entertaining, and hilarious all at the same time. We laughed out loud a lot. Matthew McConaughey as Dallas was hilarious in every scene that he was in especially his strip dancing scene teaching newbie Adam "the kid" to strip dance in front a mirror and another scene where he played the guitar and singing, "ladies of Tampa...ahahahah...." Hahaha! Hilarious! Channing Tatum as the title character Magic Mike (his strip dance nickname, his name's just Mike or Michael when he's not strip dancing) was not only super hot tamale, he was great here too with this super cool dancing and all. He's the main attraction, after all. Alex Pettyfer as Adam was cool and funny at the beginning of the film especially when he was the newbie "the kid" (recruited by MM) learning to strip dance. But his character turn for the worst as the film progressed. His character's been naive, immature, irresponsible, and just became annoying after he join the strip club. His older sister, Brooke (Cody Horn), on the other hand, was much better and more of like the only sane and normal one in this film. I liked her character here and how her sarcastic and dry sense of humor was more interesting than her younger brother's. Just the kind of woman that Mike needs and good to be around with and to keep him grounded and not be define by his job. The rest of the cast were pretty good too. I recognized a few of the hot stripper guys from TV such as Matt Bomer from White Collar, from Adam Rodriguez from CSI Miami, and Joe Manganiello from True Blood.

Overall, Magic Mike was a very good film. It was a fun and enjoyable film to watch especially for the ladies 21 and above. The strip dancing scenes were the highlight of this film. MM's side story and scenes along with Adam's sister was pretty good too. I loved and enjoyed watching this film twice in theaters. A must-see for all the ladies 21 and up! Definitely worth watching more than once. Go see it, if you haven't already!

My Magic Mike film rating: (9.5/10; A)
