Synopsis
Nick Fury of S.H.I.E.L.D. brings together a team of super humans to form The Avengers to help save the Earth from Loki and his army.

I saw The Avengers recently and it was super awesome! I didn't expect it to be really good, but it was and so much more! The first time I heard of Marvel assembling their individual superhero franchises such as Iron Man, Captain America, Incredible Hulk, and Thor to team up in one movie (which was DC Comics had previously had in development for their own Justice League that didn't happen, unfortunately), I thought it wasn't going to work. I didn't think I'd be interested in watching a group of superheroes in one film each vying for screen time and attention. I was very glad to be proven wrong with this film as this one was done superbly and extremely well. I loved and enjoyed watching it with my younger brother, who also loved and enjoyed this film as much as I did.

It had a great ensemble cast with familiar actors such as Robert Downey Jr. (Tony Stark aka Iron Man), Chris Evans (Steve Rogers/Captain America), Chris Hemsworth (Thor), Tom Hiddleston (Loki from Thor), Samuel L. Jackson (Nick Fury), Scarlett Johansson (Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow from Iron Man 2), Gwyneth Paltrow (Pepper Potts from Iron Man films), and new to this film Jeremy Renner (Clint Barton/Hawkeye), Mark Ruffalo (Bruce Banner/The Hulk), and Cobbie Smolders (agent Maria Hill). The main cast in this film all had a good amount of screen time, which was quite impressive.

Overall, The Avengers was a super, fun, humorous, and entertaining to watch. I love the balance between the action and the humorous dialogue. You won't even noticed the time. The pacing was great in this film. I highly recommend you see this movie. A must-see for everyone whether you're a comic book fan or not, young or old, or if you haven't seen the standalone films (Iron Man, Captain America, The Incredible Hulk, and Thor). This was an awesome film and definitely worth watching. I highly recommend you see this film (if you haven't already...it made over a billions of $$$). Definitely worth watching and one of the best films I've seen this year, thus far. Go see it!

My The Avengers film rating: (10/10; A+)
