Film Review: Life As We Know It

I thought this was just an okay movie that's been done many times before. A typical romantic comedy and predictable too. I was disappointed because I expected it to be really good with Katherine Heigl and Josh Duhamel in the lead. They make such a cute couple and they didn't seem to bring more spark into this film. I guess I expected more or expected too much and I usually end up being disappointed. Still, I enjoyed watching this movie for what it was. There were some funny moments and some sad moments, as well as sexual tensions between Heigl and Duhamel's characters.The baby was cute and funny too.

Overall, this movie was a nice, romantic comedy, family drama type of film. More of like a Hallmark kind of film. I think this was better to Netflix or rent this movie than to watch in theaters. Not that I thought it was worst nor I dislike watching it in theaters, but just sayin'...

This past summer, I actually had too much downtime that I surprised and found myself watching not just random movies, but I also ended up watching a few Spanish Telenovelas , lots of Korean Dramas , and some Taiwanese Dramas . Film Review: Confessions of a Shopaholic

I've seen this movie's preview trailer months ago and thought it looked very funny, but never thought or planned to see it. I've never read the Shopaholic novels even though I've heard of them and seen the books in book stores (just never read it...perhaps now I will after seeing this movie), until one day, one of my older sisters highly recommended I see it. She told me it was the best movie she's seen in a long time...and that's very rare for her to say that about a movie that she likes/loves the most. She also told me that it was worth the money. Foreign Films (Part 2)

I've been watching so many random Foreign Films via Netflix for several years now or so as a lot of them were really, really good. I started posting Foreign Films part 1   (six years ago!) and it's been a while since I wrote more about this until now. I happen to have seen a lot in the past year and recently. So, I've compiled a list of the foreign movies I remember seeing. A lot of these films I saw, I didn't expect I would love and enjoy watching, and I like that.
