My top 10 favorite MOVIES


~*~ My top 10 favorite MOVIES to watch of all time ~*~

These movies are from my DVD collection and tend to be my favorite ones to watch several times (than I care to count, lol). These were the movies that I just never get tired of viewing repeatedly and the ones that always made me smile, laugh, sad, and cry all at the same time. I highly recommend you see these movies, if you haven't yet.

Though these 11 more titles are not on my top 10 (yet) as they are fairly new and recent on my repeat of viewing (most recently), but I thought I'd mention them here. I currently love re-watching these films too.

I saw this movie twice. First on its opening day at night with friends and the next day with my mother. I love Sandra Bullock ! In Comparison: Keira Knightley (Pride & Prejudice) vs. Winona Ryder (Little Women)

Ever thought about Keira Knightle y and Winona Ryder as the same person (that you mistake them in their movies?) or looking eerie similar at least look-wise? I'm sure some of you have seen some of their many pictures on magazines and movies that you can't help but noticed they look so similar (we can even add Natalie Portman here, but these two look far more similar, lol). If so, you'll see or rather noticed a lot of similarities between these two beautiful and talented actresses. Film Review: PRECIOUS: Based On The Novel Push By Sapphire.

I saw Precious this weekend, on its 3rd weekend and expansion of theaters (only 629 and has so far grossed to almost $15M in its 15 days this week...very impressive considering it only played limited on its opening weekend debut, much like the small expansion, and its small widest release of 629 theater locations) nationwide as it finally was showing in my local theaters. I've been waiting and looking forward to seeing this film since I heard this movie was being filmed and Mariah Carey (my favorite singer) was cast in a small role as Mrs. Weiss . Also, I've read the novel "Push" by Sapphire this movie was based from. Like Oscar's Best Picture winner Slumdog Millionaire , Precious (the lil' Independent film) has been getting tons of standing O's and rave reviews as well as won several Audience Awards in various film festivals such as Sundance, Toronto, and Chicago Film festivals to name a few.
